By participating in the auction site, you signify that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions that are stated in the User Agreement and Policy section, and the following fee policies.
| Registration | Free |
| Viewing Items | Free |
| Bidding | Free |
| Listing an Item | $0.00 NO Charge on an experimental basis |
| Item Sold | 2.5% of selling price from both buyer and seller |
The submitter will have a $0.00 charge added to their balance and be notified by e-mail that this has occurred, with reference to the item that was entered into the auction categories.
The lister specifies the number of days the item will be open for bids. When the days elapse, the auction will be closed. If there were no bids, the most likely reason is that the opening price is greater than any of the bidders are willing to pay. A successful sale will require either a longer bid time in days or a lower opening bid price. The item can be resubmitted with either or both items changed.
The seller can specify a reserve price below which he is not obligated to sell. Unless a bid is received that exceeds that amount, the seller retains the item. If the reserve is not met or exceeded, the auction is closed without the item being sold.
If the reserve price is not met, the most likely reason is that the reserve price is too high or the number of days on the auction was not enough. The item can be resubmitted with either or both items changed.
When an auction closes with the reserve met, the seller will be notified
by e-mail of the selling price, and the name, address, and e-mail of the
high bidder.
The buyer will receive e-mail with the selling price, and the name, address, and
e-mail of the seller.
The notices will also include the Value fee, which will be computed
as 2.5% of the selling price.
Each user of the auction service will be expected to pay the total amount owed on or about the first of each month as described in the User Agreement section.
Any fees that are due and not paid within 30 days after the first of the month when due will result in the registration being revoked. The user will not be able to submit items for bids, or make bids on any items being listed.
In the event that the buyer decides to not take the item, the seller must send us and the high bidder an e-mail stating that the high bidder has not taken the item and request that the e-mail and address of the next highest bidder over the reserve be provided. The bidder not accepting the item must provide us with a letter from a reputable expert stating the item was not in the condition as advertised, or be placed on the DEADBEAT bidder list, which will result in their registration being revoked.
If the next highest bidder does not take the item, and provides a letter stating that the item was not in the described condition, the seller will be placed on the DEADBEAT seller list, which will result in their registration being revoked. [This will not negate the listing charge already incurred].
These fees can change at any time as deemed necessary by the owners of the www.gunsforsale.com auction site with 30 days notification. Return to the Top of page
