Exporting Guns

We receive many requests to ship guns out of the US. Since I do not want to get involved in the red tape that is involved, I had a note from a group that has been exporting for a number of years.

For someone outside the US wanting to have a gun shipped to them, there are several things that MUST happen before that can happen. They Include:

  1. Be sure that your country is on the approved list that can be exported to from the US.
  2. Obtain an Import permit from your government. It MUST be an original, certified copy.
  3. Obtain a Purchase Order/Invoice. This can be an email giving the details of the purchase.
  4. You will be responsible for the shipping and handling cost.
  5. Expect the fees for handling by this group to be at least $100 USD
  6. Be prepared to not be in a hurry while the US government approval process is underway.
