We can arrange for a number of different types of etching, summarized below.
We also offer a 447 page knife catalog to choose from. The large catalog will cost you $7 including postage for shipping within the continental US, which will be refunded on your order.
A minimum order of 50 knives is required. For etching, there is a setup fee which varies depending on what type of etching you desire, from $40 to $70. The fee for etching -- above the setup fee--varies depending on the type and is reduced in price if a larger number is ordered. For example, surface etching blade only fee is $2.50 for 50 - 150 pieces. The price drops to $1.50 per piece for over 150 pieces.
The knives you choose can vary tremendously in cost and value. You choose the knives for etching, the type of etching, and supply a camera ready copy of what you want on the item. After you chose the knife you want etched(or flashlight), I bargain with the distributor to get the best price on a large buy. If you have a limtied budget for what you are looking to purchase and can provide that number, I can make recommendations as to possible candidates rather than have you go through the entire 400 page plus catalog. You are always free to view the entire catalog if you so desire.
This is not a short process. It requires that you plan the budget, develop the camera ready copy of what you want engraved, we get an order in place on the knives(with a deposit of course), and start the process of having the engraver developing the plates from your camera ready copy. You should plan ahead at least 8 weeks or more to have the process completed.
